Staring Back

In a recent post, I showed you a picture of a gull where I had used the adjustment brush in Lightroom 4.  While I valued the opportunity to practice my post-processing skills, I also wanted to share a photo that needed very little in the way of adjustments.

A gull at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art stares back at me.

A gull at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art stares back at me.

This picture was taken not long after the other one; it might even be the exact same bird.

This time, my subject is closer to eye level and more of him is lit because of it…no playing with shadows on this shot.

I like the way he is staring right back at me.  And, no, I had no food for him.
